If you are the Account Owner or a listed Account Contact, and you have forgotten your AccountCenter password and no longer have access to the email address we have on file for you, please:

Manually Updating the Email Address we have on File

NOTE: If, according to our records, you are neither the Account Owner nor an Account Contact, we will be unable to assist you and you should NOT file this form, as it will NOT grant you access to the Hostox account. You should instead contact the Account Owner for further assistance.

  • Complete the Account Owner/Account Contact Email Update Request form found here; and
  • Attach a copy of your Government-issued ID; and
  • Send your completed form and ID to the email address or fax number on the form.

NOTE: If, according to our records, you are neither the Account Owner nor an Account Contact, we will be unable to assist you and you should NOT file this form, as it will NOT grant you access to the Hostox account. You should instead contact the Account Owner for further assistance.

Removing Your Credit Card / Debit Card from an Account

If your credit/debit card is being used for payment on an account on which you are not a listed Account Contact nor the Account Owner, and you do not authorize charges to your card, you may a request to have us remove the credit/debit card from the account. In this case, please:

  • Complete the Credit/Debit Card Removal Request form found here; and
  • Attach all of the documents listed on the form; and
  • Send your completed form and documentation to the email address or fax number

NOTE: If, according to our records, you are a listed Account Contact or the Account Owner, this process will NOT work for you. You should instead contact our Billing Department (during normal business hours) for assistance with removing your credit/debit card from the account. Transferring Ownership of an Account

Occasionally, a situation arises where ownership of an account needs to be transferred from one person to another.

If you are the Account Owner, and you wish to transfer ownership of your account to another person, please:

  • Complete the Request to Transfer Account Ownership form found here; and
  • Attach all of the documents listed on the form for Type A transfers; and
  • Submit your completed form and documentation.

If you are NOT the Account Owner, but you believe you are the rightful owner of the account, please:

  • Complete the Request to Transfer Account Ownership form found here; and
  • Attach all of the documents listed on the form for Type A transfers; and
  • Submit your completed form and documentation.

If the Account Owner is deceased, and you are the lawful heir, beneficiary, power of attorney or executor, please:

  • Complete the Request to Transfer Account Ownership form found here; and
  • Attach all of the documents listed on the form for Type A transfers; and
  • Submit your completed form and documentation.
Proving Ownership of a Domain Name

If you own a domain name that is currently associated with an account on which you are not a listed Account Contact nor the Account Owner, we may be able to assist you by removing the domain name registration service and/or the DNS zone file from the account. To prove that you are the owner of the domain name, please:

  • Complete the Proof of Domain Name Ownership form found here; and
  • Attach all of the documents listed on the form; and
  • Send your completed form and documentation to the email address or fax number on the form.
